The Resource and Environment team at Birdon are an award-winning, market leader in the deconstruction and recycling of maritime and subsea assets and infrastructure. They have delivered some of Australia’s largest and most complex disposal and decommissioning projects, consistently achieving over 97% recycling rates.

This includes the recycling of subsea oil and gas assets, ex-RAN vessels, military aircraft and armoured land vehicles.

Alongside our global reputation as a designer and manufacturer of specialist vessels, Birdon also leverages nearly 50 years of experience operating a versatile dredging fleet across Australia. Our in-house team delivers critical dredging solutions to the mining and resources sector, including tailings relocation, pit remediation, and environmental dredging.
