Jingjin, CATL, XCMG among Chinese leaders at IMARC 2025

  • 12 September 2025

Australian market and product range expansion have been key 2025 milestones for Jingjin Equipment, the Shandong-based filter press equipment and technology company which is part of an impressive line-up of Chinese firms at the International Mining and Resources Conference + Expo (IMARC) in Sydney in October.

A Jingjin spokesperson says the 37-year-old company entered the Australian market in 2009, “bringing with us over two decades of expertise in filter press technology and extensive global export experience”.

“Our entry marked the beginning of long-term engagement with Australia’s mining and industrial sectors.

“We have expanded from working with a single customer to serving six by 2025. This steady growth highlights the confidence our Australian partners place in Jingjin’s solutions and underscores our commitment to deepening partnerships, supporting sustainable operations and contributing to the region’s industrial development in the years ahead.

“Beyond market expansion we have enhanced our product offering with broader applications for filter presses, plunger pumps and power systems, while investing in dedicated workshops for pressure vessels and evaporators. These achievements underline our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions and to building long-term partnerships in Australia and beyond.”

Jingjin will showcase its advanced filter press, power cabinet, thickener and filter cloth solutions at IMARC 2025.

The spokesperson says mining and metals represents a key market for Jingjin, whose products are widely applied across multiple industries in more than 120 countries and regions. In China it is also the primary drafter of national filter press and filter plate standards and the company has obtained 136 patents, including international patents.

“With Australia’s wealth of mineral resources, IMARC provides Jingjin with a unique opportunity to present our advanced filtration solutions to a global audience,” the spokesperson says.

“We regard it as not only a showcase for our brand and products but also as a gateway to building stronger partnerships, expanding our influence in the Australian mining sector and contributing to sustainable development worldwide.”

Jingjin Equipment is part of a significant Chinese exhibitor and speaking presence at IMARC 2025.

The exhibition floor will feature groups such as major grinding media manufacturer Anhui Fengxing New Material Technology Co, intelligent sorting solutions firms AMD Sorting and Nuctech, engineering and construction giant Sinoma and mineral processing engineering specialist, Shandong Xinhai Mining Technology & Equipment, among others.

One of the world’s largest construction and mining equipment manufacturers, SANY Group, will exclusively preview its new long-term strategic plan for the Australian mining market.

And a major highlight of the event will be a keynote panel discussion focusing on China’s expanding capabilities, innovations and investment interests across international mining and metals supply chains.

Moderated by EMR Capital co-founder and CEO Jason Chang, the panel will present unique global market insights from Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt executive vice chairman George Fang, Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia CEO Raj Surendran, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Limited (CATL) chief of staff and head of international investment management, Junwei Chen, and Leo Wang (Yue), vice president of XCMG Global.
