Mark Haywood

He has held executive operational positions with a number of public and private Canadian corporations. He has managed large mining and exploration projects in Africa, South America, Australia and Canada. Mr. Haywood has also held senior career positions with Anglo Gold Ashanti, Goldfields, IAMGold, Ivanhoe, BHP and Placer Pacific at various mining operations around the world including Chief Mining Engineer and Mine Manager at both underground and open pit mines. Mr. Haywood is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He currently serves as the President & CEO of EDM Resources (listed on the TSXV & the parent company of Scotia Mine Limited). He is also the Managing Director of the Scotia Mine, located near the Halifax airport.
