What is the UK Critical Minerals Strategy?

Claire Spooner, Deputy Director of the Faraday Battery Challenge at Innovate UK, was interviewed by Mines and Money TV to discuss the UK Critical Minerals Strategy. She will be sitting on a panel discussing “The Responsible Sourcing And Secure Supply Of Critical Minerals Throughout The Entire Value Chain” in the mining event Resourcing Tomorrow. In the interview, Spooner discussed how the Faraday Battery Challenge is helping new UK businesses develop commercial battery technologies and what steps are being taken to become Net Zero. She also talked about the challenges faced by the project and how they are working to overcome them.
